Please do not eat the soaps. They do not taste nice. They might smell like fruit but eating real fruit tastes much better.
-As we do not test on animals, I have to do the eating. If you eat them you will be very sick and possibly poop bubbles.
Absolutely! Our soap making kits come with step-by-step instructions. All you need is a small bowl for mixing and a pot to melt the soap base (a gravy jug works great). Melt the soap base, mix in the ingredients, stir, and pour into the mould. Let it sit for an hour (or longer if it's warm), and voilà, you've got your own handmade soap!
Trueli nature soap kits are sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS) and paraben free. These are widely known and controversial chemicals that are in a majority of everyday products that you find on the shelves.
We also cut out synthetic fragrances and use pure 100% essential oils instead that are certifiied by the soil association.
All colours that are used are food and plant grade such as Alkanet root, Matcha powder. Lemon oil, Tumeric powder and Honey this is what gives the soap its natural hues.
The soap base contains vegetable glycerine and is suitable for vegans. Click here (javascript:void(0))for more information.
The soap base contains no palm oil, but may contain palm oil derivatives. It is extremely hard to rule out palm derivatives as they find there way into everything in todays world from food & packaging to beauty supplies.
We work with our suppliers to ensure good practice, so here (http://www.stephensonpersonalcare.com/blog/2013-08-08-raising-the-bar-our-palm-oil)is a link from our soap base supplier 'Stephensons Personal Care' on the partnerships they use in Palm oil production from some of their other products to ensure fair standards for workers and the protection of the rainforest and the local communities surrounding.
